Report: Hawk open to trade out of Green Bay

A.J. Hawk(notes) would love to play for a team willing to use the linebacker on three downs.
If that means a trade out of Green Bay, he’s welcome to a change of scenery.

“A.J. is a pro’s pro and wants to do his part to help the team win, and his first priority is to be the best Packer he can,” McCartney told Demovsky. “But if some team called and wanted him to play on all three downs, I think he’d be excited about that.”
Per Demovsky, Hawk has not lost his starting spot in the 3-4 defense, but the Packers played exclusively in sub packages against the Eagles with three and four wide receivers. In the sub packages, Brandon Chillar(notes) replaces Hawk.
