Goal.com's MLS Player Of The Week: Fredy Montero, Seattle Sounders FC

Freddie Ljungberg's return to Seattle was overshadowed by an electric performance by former teammate Fredy Montero this weekend.

The Colombian notched a brace, including a 94th minute winner, to lead Sounders FC over the Chicago Fire.

The 2-1 win lifted Seattle to fourth place in the Western Conference and keeps the side firmly in contention for a playoff slot come the end of the season. Montero now has double digits in both goals and assists in the 2010 MLS season.

The sort of performance which won't look out of place when Montero is playing in Europe, which surely can't be more than a transfer window away right now.
