strong safety Mike Doss, who had been suspended in June for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor gun charge, has been reinstated to the team today.Doss was forced to serve a one-game suspension, which was reduced from two games after he filed an appeal, for firing a gun outside of an Akron, Ohio restaurant. roster, the Colts waived rookie offensive lineman Matt Ulrich. It is likely that if Ulrich clears waivers, he could be placed on the team's practice squad.Mike Doss appeared in ten games for Indianapolis in 2004, registering 46 tackles and two interceptions while battling injuries. In his rookie season, he earned the starting strong safety spot and was among the team leaders in tackles with 102. For now, he has been replaced in the starting lineup by 4th year man Joseph Jefferson, who recorded six tackles in the opening week 24-7 win over the Baltimore Ravens. (0)
