Bears hoping to have Cutler back on Sunday

After Lovie Smith watched his quarterbacks not named Jay Cutler(notes) combine to pass for 51 yards in Sunday’s 23-6 victory at Carolina, he had to be pleased with the way his offense reacted when forced to run the ball.
And then he was to wonder football jersey
how much longer the Chicago Bears will be without Jay Cutler. The good news is the Bears are optimistic Cutler will return for Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks at Soldier Field.
Then again, Smith said he was hopeful this past week and Cutler missed a game because of injury for the first time in his NFL career.
“He hasn’t had any setbacks,” Smith said. “Not going to talk about Jay anymore. There’s nothing else for me to tell you about Jay. He’s doing better. Wednesday we’ll be able to tell you a little bit more. I got off the plane (Sunday) night, been watching video and don’t know a whole lot more from that.”

Said tight end Greg Olsen(notes): “He’s feeling good. I think he felt good toward the end of Minnesota Vikings jersey
the week and was able to get some practice in and some workouts and run around and get going.”
If Cutler can’t go, Smith and the Bears will probably turn to Caleb Hanie(notes) after 38-year-old Todd Collins(notes) struggled mightily, completing six passes and getting intercepted four times.
